We get asked this every week, so we researched it properly: both products' public pages, the prices users report, and the reviews on Trustpilot and the review sites, all as of October 2026. Jobright is a real product with real fans. Here is where the two differ and why we think IdealJob is the better deal wherever you are searching.

What each one is

Jobright is an AI job matching platform built around a feed. You set what you want, it shows a stream of roles with a match percentage, a resume tool, an "insider" feature that finds people at the company, and a chat assistant. Its listings and its content are US focused; reviewers consistently list US-only coverage as the drawback. It has an auto-apply agent that reviewers describe as in beta, with frequent hand-offs back to the user and at least one reported case of the agent inventing an answer.

IdealJob is a career agent. It reads your CV, scans careers pages and job boards every morning across Europe, the UK and the US, scores each new role against you with the reasons and the gaps, flags postings that look like talent pools or reposts, and emails you the ones worth your time. It keeps a CV version per role from your own CV, writes the letter for the posting, applies for you on Premium after you review, caps that per day, tracks every application and asks you later whether anyone replied.

If you are in the US

Both cover the US. IdealJob reads the employers' own careers pages every morning and scores each role against your CV with reasons, which is the part that saves time, at a quarter of the reported price, with applying that you review rather than an agent in beta. Jobright's insider feature is a genuine plus if referrals are your strategy; everything else, IdealJob does for less and with more care about what it sends in your name.

If you are in Europe or the UK

This is not close. Jobright's coverage is US focused. IdealJob was built here, scans European and UK careers pages, knows which UK and Dutch employers can sponsor a visa, and prices in a way that makes sense for a European graduate.

If you are a student

IdealJob gives two months of Premium free with a university email, which covers an internship season, with the CV version and letter drafted for each role. Jobright has good student content and a paid plan.

The honest summary

Jobright is a well-made feed for the US market with a networking angle. IdealJob is a career agent that finds, scores, flags, writes and applies, on both sides of the Atlantic, for a fraction of the price, and it tells you afterwards which applications were ever going to answer. Try both free plans for a week. Ours asks for no card.
