IdealJob vs LoopCV: volume or precision in automated applying
LoopCV runs application loops across job boards. IdealJob scores every role against your CV, flags the bad postings, writes the application from your own CV and sends it with a cap. What each costs and what users report, researched in October 2026.

LoopCV and IdealJob both automate applying, and that is where the similarity ends. We researched LoopCV's public pages, its reported prices and its reviews in October 2026, because the honest comparison is the only useful one.
What each one is
LoopCV lets you set up loops: a job title, a place, a CV and a cover letter, and it searches job boards and applies, or emails recruiters, on a schedule, with plans sized in applications per month. It is the purest version of the auto-apply idea, and its support gets consistent praise. Its Trustpilot rating sits just under four out of five, and the recurring complaints are about the gap between roles matched and roles actually applied to, loops that sent nothing until support fixed a bug, generic answers to form questions, and recruiter emails landing in spam.
IdealJob scans careers pages and job boards every morning across Europe, the UK and the US, scores each new role against your CV with reasons and gaps, flags postings that look like talent pools or reposts, and emails you the ones that fit. Applying comes after fit: a CV version tuned to that role from your own CV, a letter for that posting, and on Premium the submission on the employer's own form, one click or full auto above a score you set, with a daily cap and anything the form can't fill honestly handed back to you. Afterwards it tracks the application and asks whether anyone replied.

If you measure the search in applications
LoopCV will report a bigger number. The reviews say the number does not always mean what it seems: matched is not applied, and applied with a generic answer is not read. IdealJob sends fewer applications and each one is specific, early and from your own CV, which is what gets a reply.
If you are in Europe or the UK
Both cover Europe. IdealJob reads the employers' own careers pages rather than the boards, so roles arrive the morning they are posted rather than days later, and it knows which UK and Dutch employers can sponsor a visa.
If you are in the US
Same answer. Careers pages first, scored against you, reviewed before sending, and a tenth to a quarter of LoopCV's reported price for the same month.
The honest summary
LoopCV is volume automation with good support and mixed results. IdealJob is precision: fewer, better applications, sent early from your own CV, to roles that were going to answer, for less money. If your search has been fifty generic applications a day and silence, this is the switch to make.
Questions people ask
How much does LoopCV cost?
The free plan is reported at ten applications or emails a month. Paid plans are reported from about 20 to 90 dollars a month for one hundred or three hundred applications. IdealJob Premium is 9.99 a month with up to ten reviewed applications a day.
Does LoopCV really apply to hundreds of jobs?
Its plans are sized in applications. Reviewers describe a large gap between jobs matched and jobs actually applied to, loops that sent nothing, and generic answers to form questions.
Does IdealJob apply to as many?
No, on purpose. It applies to roles above a score you set, after you review the CV and letter, with a daily cap, so every application is specific and early rather than generic and many.
